Pronunciation
[edit]'Uyghurs', mystified by how to say it? I think (as a US American) that it's pronounced "Wee-ger". Using common US pronunciation, not IPA. It would be nice if someone who knows can clear this up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OsamaBinLogin (talk • contribs) 07:01, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
Modern Uyghurs are karluks
[edit]I think this should be added so there will be no confusoion about them being related to acieny uyghurs. Modern uyghurs are descendants of karakhanids who eventually genocided the acient uyghurs of kara del and qocho in the 1400s the acient uyghurs fled to gansu modern Yugurs 2603:8001:8446:6EBB:98C7:51FA:796C:E95E (talk) 20:13, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
